At a Glance
Vikhram's dark coat and hulking figure can be a bit intimidating initially. However, after a few moments, one would quickly see the mellow shine lingering in his gaze at all times. Slow moving and easy going, he seldom seems in a rush or overly concerned about much. His coat is a plush black with flecks of grey and a mostly grey underbelly and chest which stands to accentuate his warm amber gaze.
Standing tall with massive paws, he is often seen with his head a bit lower to appear smaller than he is.
Profile of Vikhram: Details
Appearance
Vikhram is a massive Eurasian wolf with a mostly black over coat and grey underbelly. With strong legs supported by large paws, Vikhram is robust, sturdy, and has a thick coat that often makes him look larger than he already is. His eyes stand out easily against his darker coat as a warm amber and most often, one can find him baring a kind and easy going expression. A lot kinder than he looks, Vikhram is very much a lover of long chases, expeditions, and eating. While he dislikes confrontation, his brawn isn't just for show and is able to hold his own against most that wish to provoke him into physical altercations.
Personality
MBTI: ESFP

Strengths
-Mellow and reliable
It is truly difficult to get on Vikhram's bad side or to get much of a negative reaction from him. A naturally gregarious soul, the wolf is very social and enjoys getting to know new packmates or potential allies. He is more quick to blame himself or huff a bit in times of intense frustration than he ever is to lash out. Reliably even-tempered, Vikhram is definitely someone to have around during difficult periods or tense situations.

-Charismatic communicator
With a good sense of humor and a great need for social interaction, Vikhram is quick to adapt to social circles. He understands when to be more outgoing, spontaneous, and loud, as opposed to being more of an active listener. With his closest inner circle, he is playful, helpful, and lovable. Sprinkle in a few dad jokes, too much knowledge on different animals' poops and what their diet means, and too many annoying to-do lists, and you've got Vikhram.

-Practical and Adaptive
As noted, Vikhram is very attuned to the surrounding flora and fauna. He has a passion for logging and learning about new species of plants or animals he comes into contact with. Even meeting other canid species, he with his social and at-ease personality, would sooner try to befriend them and learn about their upbringing and culture. When friends are ailing, he is the first to curiously prod them on the status of their bowels, which can be quite odd and annoying, but he knows well that one's digestive tract can reveal a lot about one's health. With this working knowledge of flora, fauna, and health, Vikhram is very quick with problem solving and helping in medical crises. Whether he just genuinely enjoys the process of learning, helping others, getting to socialize with knowledgeable folk, or everything in between, the wolf carries a wealth of knowledge about where he's been and where he is now.

-Nurturing and sensitive
He has a severe soft spot for pups and quiet folk. Some would say he has an uncanny ability to nurture shy folk out of their shells like a morning tide coaxes hermit crabs back to the sea. In addition to his adaptive social ability, Vikhram is very sensitive to the needs of others, especially those that struggle to speak outwardly of these needs. It's not uncommon for him in any free time to provide company or protection to new mothers or families, as well as new pack mates that just need a friend.

Weaknesses
-Guarded and secretive
Vikhram notably has an upbringing he'd mostly like to keep to himself with a sincere dislike for discussing the past beyond vague details and learning experiences he can offer as kind wisdom. Social and friendly, the black and grey wolf is generally easy to talk to. It's difficult to find him in an angered or disrupted state, but not impossible.

-Needs structure at all times
Though it can appear as though he marches to the beat of his own drum, Vikhram has internal to-do lists, monologues, and structure that no one would notice save for his inner circle. He can appear a bit too laissez faire sometimes, but in truth, Vikhram is almost never without something to do. His body may seem calm, but his brain is always busy.

-Internally destructive
His social nature is in part due to his natural need for companionship, but is also in part due to his fear of ever having to process what keeps him awake at night. Never outwardly critical towards others, Vikhram has strong feelings of contempt for himself and his actions in the past. When these thoughts get too overwhelming, it's common to find the black and grey wolf overworking himself, over-extending his abilities, and being wreckless.

-Struggles with change
Socially adaptable and resourcefulness doesn't ever change the fact that Vikhram needs other folk to keep him grounded. He is outgoing and kind, but mostly because new environments without the aid of others terrifies him. He uses his internal sense of structure to partially assist with his fear of change, but relies heavily on his colleagues and surroundings to stay centered. He struggles to even rest or sleep if he isn't aware of his surroundings or who exactly is sleeping around him. In many ways, the need to know and be on good terms with everyone is a safety cushion as much as it is simply a personality trait.

Biography
It felt like a dream or a bad nightmare that he still hadn't shaken from his groggy mind. When he padded along cold rocks early in the morning, the fog lingered there, tugging and pleading for him to squint just a bit longer to see it clearly.

He had a pack formerly. He couldn't remember where from, or maybe he just didn't want to remember.
He loved someone once. She was refreshing like the first air of Fall and spoke like the kindest songbirds he could recall. But it all happened so fast and within what felt like an instant, he had blood on his paws and was on the run.

Vikhram was born to a small pack far north of the Teekon wilds. He has few and sparse memories of his upbringing, but recalled his family was quite small. Tight knit and reliant on each other for survival, the pack mates he had instances of clarity on were always positive. As a pup, he was the eldest of four siblings. As such, the responsibility of looking out for his much smaller siblings began early and carried on into the wolf's personality for most of his life. Attentive and strong, Vikhram was a valuable asset to his pack and well known for his endurance for long hunts and strength against large foes.
Such aptitude led to much praise and, over all, good standing within his family. As life would have it, he fell in love with a long time companion--though even her name escapes him most often in the present.
Time wasn't in his favor.
She had already caught the attention of a fairly new packmate.
Truly, it wasn't Vikhram's place to be too upset over any other's decisions. So he kindly stood aside, even as the woman he loved for so long expressed her sorrow and regret in accepting the other's offer, and urged her to follow her heart. He would never be far from her, he promised, only wanting her to be happy and healthy.
Remaining close, he saw her bring three puppies into the world. He came to quite like her mate--liked him enough to want to share meals and consider him a friend!
They were a wonderful couple, he thought. Their pups were precious and he was ecstatic to see his pack thriving...

It felt like a dream or a bad nightmare that he still hadn't shaken from his groggy mind.
One day one of the three new puppies went missing. Vikhram and the pup's father had found from the other two pups that their sister had insisted she could climb the rock wall of their nursery. It happened so fast. Their mother was up to stretch her legs, father returning from his morning hunt to greet them, and within that exchange, the puppy was gone.
Together, Vikhram and the pups' father ventured out to figure out where she had gone. Her scent was strong, tinged with distress, as well as another animal. The men were worried and quickly discovered the young pup cowering underneath a tiny crevice of a cave. Outside was what appeared to be a crazed raccoon, foaming at the mouth, screeching, and swiping underneath the cave crevice for the puppy.
Vikhram knew something was wrong. He had to stop the pup's father from charging the creature, informing him that the raccoon seemed off and could be a danger to all of them.
He was right.
One lured the creature away from the cave, and the other landed a killing blow to its neck. The puppy was scared and had suffered a few scrapes and a bite, but was otherwise safe.

It felt like a dream or a bad nightmare that he still hadn't shaken from his groggy mind.
Within weeks, maybe 3, maybe even 5, he couldn't remember, the pups fell ill. Except it wasn't an illness they had seen before.
The runaway puppy started actually attacking her siblings in what began as playfights. So much so that the parents felt it was safe to keep the siblings apart for awhile. This behavior carried over and the young girl would attack her own mother too.
As a collective, the pack watched in horror as a formerly health and happy puppy became violent, inconsolable, and eventually died due to violent seizures.
And then it continued.
Then his former love became quiet. Some said it was understandable since she'd lost a daughter so suddenly and violently to a mystery illness that seemed to have no explanations.
She was irrationally anxious over seemingly little, lashed out in ways Vikhram had never seen.
The other puppies started behaving oddly too.
Her mate and a few other pack mates began an expedition north for help from more experienced medics with the sliver of hope that someone, ANYONE, could help them.

It felt like a dream or a bad nightmare that he still hadn't shaken from his groggy mind.

One night, she had asked Vikhram in a strained voice,
"Vikhram... If the boys begin to suffer like their sister, please do what you need to... I don't want them to suffer anymore."

"If I become a danger to my kids or to the pack, I want you to kill me too."

And so he did.
Within the day, the symptoms were hellish and he had to put aside his own fear of whatever was happening within the family to honor her wishes.
The scouting team and her mate were not returning, at least not in time with any information that could save them.
No one was coming to save her or her sons.
The woman he had loved so dearly was a frothing shell of her former self, her eyes blared out like a crazed owl, and her nature violent like the most territorial wolverines.

He honored her wishes, putting the erratic and ailing pups to rest as cleanly and quickly as he could.
He could swear as he pressed down his paws on her flank and crushed her trachea, he could hear her whisper a strained, but sincere thank you.

He honored her wishes to the death, but that meant nothing to her horrified mate and even more horrified packmates.
Within the timeframe of the disease's progression, her request, and Vikhram's mercy killing, he had no time to process his own grief nor create a plausible story or explanation for his actions.
Of course, knowing how the disease progressed in the first puppy, the plausible explanation was that Vikhram was simply protecting himself.
His siblings vouched for him. Even the pups' father didn't believe that Vikhram was capable of cold blooded murder.
But he admitted openly that he killed them. He tried to explain that it was the mother's wishes, but such a flat out confession rendered anything else following to be pointless to the outcry of disbelief.

It felt like a dream or a bad nightmare that he still hadn't shaken from his groggy mind.

And so he was on the run now, exiled whether by his own alpha, his own family, or left by his own decision, he couldn't really remember anymore.

Relations
None that he can clearly remember presently
