@Cyn

Loping down the borders of Blackfeather, she sought out a scent. It was not her place, nor her duty to so such a thing, but the itching curiousness drove her to do so. Ayana and her had not gotten off on the right track, not at all really. Nemesis had been almost relieved when the girl had left on her mission but it had been a while since then, and to her, something seemed suspicious. Though, nobody else seemed to share these thoughts, which only raised her to question more. To be sure, she decided to check the border's for her packmates scent, in hope that something would give her a clue.

So far, nothing had come up. The dull scent of rusted blood and rotted forest filled her nostrils, no Ayana scent to be found. Lifting her head, she gazed over the borderline, hoping to miraculously see the stubborn girl appearing through the trees but no figure arrived. Her shoulder's slunk in defeat, about to give up. Then suddenly her nose twitched, the sound of footsteps drawing near. Whipping her head around, a light coloured female approached from the distance, and for a split second, she thought it was the girl herself. But it wasn't. Her face instantly turned to a scowl, narrowing her eyes at the girl.  "Oh, it's just you" Her displeasure clear on her face.

Cyn laughed and limped over to the female. Her wrap made of leaves and vines had smelled of blood. She felt like she had a battle scar even if she had gotten it from a falling tree. She wasn't as hostile as last time, even if the voice in her head had gone the opposite way. Kill the girl, nobody will know it was you. She ignored the voice and continued to pay attention to reality."How have you been doing?" She wanted a little chit chat before she went away since she was obviously bothering her. Cyn had a smile on her face, but it did not meet her eyes that were emotionless.

As her sandy colored packmate approached her, she noticed that there was a limp in her step. Nemesis's eyes wandered to the girl's leg, wrapped in an assortment of blood, leaves and other greenery. Something in her mind smirked at Cyn's misfortune, but she quickly cleared the prospect of it. Perhaps she had come into contact with another hostile, or simply injured herself by accident. As far as she knew, Cyn didn't seem to be the one to purposely attack another.
Voicing her opinions she commented almost smugly. "What happened to you?", she asked teasingly.
She stalked over to the female, her hostility was forgotten. And so was Cyn's, apparently. Unlike the last time they had met, threats had been made and blood almost shed. Perhaps they could be civilized, but the thought seemed distant in her mind, as if the idea of greeting each other without the cold glares or obnoxious attitude would be boring. In fact, her relationship with almost all of Blackfeather was in a way toxic, much like the land around them.

"A tree fell onto my leg and I pulled myself out, but my leg got the worst of it." Cyn could sense how both of them were not hostile towards each other. Maybe they could stay like that, but she was unsure of it. Once she got better she would most likely become like she was before. Angry and unforgiving. She was truly saddened by it. A sigh reached her lips and escaped her mouth in a quick second. To tell the truth Cyn was depressed. She lokked at the ground, not wanting to reach Nemesis's eyes.

Her leg gave her a little pain, but she didn't care about it at all. Cyn finally got enough courage to look at Nemesis. Tears almost filled her eyes as she blinked. She held them back and showed no emotion on her face.

Nemesis stared uncomfortably at Cyn as the girl suppressed tears. She wasn't a genius in the ways of comforting another or having any form of sympathy. Gently, she nudged the girls shoulder, the least she could do to show that she cared. We look after each other, Burkes words rang in her mind. He had said that when she had first joined and the fact had scared her. But now she realized  that they didn't have to routinely show their affection but when it came down to it, they would act like a pack and take care of each other. She could do that, regardless of what her conscious told her.

"Seriously though, are you okay? You seem kind of... saddened" She asked awkwardly. Her social skills were slowly becoming refined, but it did not help the situation. They were destined frenimies yet here she was almost comforting the girl. Every urge in her mind told her to get out of the situation, but she stayed put refusing to submit to her troubling conscious.

"I have this voice in my head. It has only gotten worse over time. I just want it out." Oh poor baby you are a little sad over little ol' me? Her voice spoke in her head. It sounded like a distorted male voice. She shook it away and looked back at the other female that seemed to be more worried about her.

Cyn hadn't been mentally well the past few days either. "Do you have any suggestions to get it out?" She needed a little help with it maybe her frenemy could help. A yawn came out of Cyn. She wasn't bored, but her sleep schedule had moved because of the voice. Her tail laid limply in place.

Nemesis felt her eyes widen at Cyn's ailment, one similar to her own. But regardless of their similar problems, she would not let it be known. Yet, Cyn seemed to actually be suffering to this 'voice' in her head. Was it possible that this voice whispered things such as her own conscious did? The dark and malevolent whispers that enticed her for greater evil? It was unlikely, not hissing voice was quite like the one that spoke to her, she believed. But she would not push away the girl's broken words, she knew very well the extent of her own damage simply caused by the one ticking whisper at the back of her mind. She would not allow any else to roam Blackfeather as a potential safety hazard despite that maleficent nature was praised here.

Looking into the girl's troubled eyes, she wondered exactly what this voice had said to Cyn, what damage it had already done. Judging by the state she ;looked, she could only guess that the voice had deprived her of rest and a bit of her mental sanity. "Well, and if you tell anyone about this..." She made clear, not bothering to finish the sentence. "I suffer from something similar. If you know you are walking time bomb, get help. Perhaps see Meldresi before the winter comes, she will be able to help, i'm sure" She advised, knowing how the dark priestess had aided in her own troubles.
"Don't put pride before other's safety, if that's what's holding you back" She warned, knowing fully how reluctant she had been to tell Meldresi.

Cyn nodded, she understood a little. If you think you can get rid of me so easily you must be mistaken me for a weak voice. I am powerful. No one shall love you like you love me deep down. The male voice hissed at the girl almost making her wince. A tear rolled down her face and she looked the other wolf straight in the eyes with the most terrified look in her eyes ever. Her tail would have tucked inbetween her legs more if it could've. Her breathing was ragged since the tears started flowing more. Her confidence had broken down easier than it had built up. She was now a poor almost pathetic wolf that was at another wolf's paws crying like a pup lost and looking for anyone they recognized in the forest full of trees that looked like something from your scariest dreams.

She felt a knot in her throat and stomach from the cold tears rolling down her caramel fur. She needed help and she knew it.

Nemesis stood awkwardly as the first tears began to well up in Cyn's eyes. She wanted to lecture the girl on how it wasn't proper for a Blackfeather wolf to cry over such foolish things. But who was she kidding? Everyone had their ups and downs, even her. Nudging closer to the girl, she stood in silence, a better alternative than her usual 'There there'. But the look Cyn held in her eyes when they met hers chilled her to the bone. It was as if she wasn't even seeing Nemesis but someone else who made her this way. But she just couldn't shake the look from her thoughts, the look of pure and utter terror for it was one that she herself had held so many moons ago.

"Have you talked to Burke lately? About everything?" Hinting that maybe it was best for her to let it all out to Burke, every moment that had led up to her broken state. "Despite what you may think, it's okay to cry. Crying doesn't make you weak, but what does is letting it get to you" She hardened, being straight up with the girl. "You're better than you think, you're more powerful than what it tells you. Remember that" She said, with complete sincerity.
