The base of the mountain was covered in most, almost like the world had been flipped upside down and she walked through the clouds. Kazimir noted the eery silence that along with the thick fog made for quite an unsettling air. She paused for a few moments sniffing and focusing her hearing, both senses trained to be her eyes when her eyes couldn't see from having to keep on course when pulling sleds. Much to her surprise she caught a whiff of what she came to seek, the stench of coyote and killed prey that were rather fresh. As soon as she noticed it and set forward a growl came to her left and she whirled around, snapping her teeth together in warning just as a second growl came from behind her. There were two of them, one male one female and the female reeked of the season. They had been using the mountain base as a breeding ground and she had trespassed. Unfortunately for them these mountains were not theirs, they belonged to Sitgmata and Mahler, to Diaspora and therefore to her.
She growled again her hackles rising and watched as the male crept through the fog. Now visible to her she wasted no time and lunged at him, fangs bared and sinking deep into his muzzle. The coyote screamed and thrashed his head, backing away and she would have held on except for the fact that the female chose that moment to leap onto her back. Kazimir let go and used all her leg strength to not collapse, snapping over her shoulder before flipping herself over and rolling on the female like a horse. She quickly regained her footing but not fast enough to prepare for the male's lunge, his teeth snagging her scruff and holding tight. She yelped and snarled, thrashing and twisting in his grip biting at his throat close enough that he backed off. Unsure what else to do she howled, Calling for Diaspora and anyone else nearby who would help her.

The scent of blood was what lured the female to the site. She had felt at home within the clouds, high up in the mountain. Kills were not easy to come by on this mountain, so any kill that was left behind was interesting to the female. The cougar kept to the shadows as she traveled. As she came closer she noticed that the kill was already occupied by dogs. She groaned softly.
However, the sight was rather interesting. She was about to leave when she noticed that the wolf was in a fight. Oh she couldn't wait till she would have a fresh kill. She moved to a higher outcrop that had the perfect view for her to watch this battle. Would the two coyotes win or the wolf by itself. Her tail flickered curiously behind her. The winner she might battle for the food. Her keen amber eyes looked down, clearly hungry to see what was going to happen.

The dice are on my side hallelujah. Hey Hannah, It would be super duper appreciated if Kazimir could take the dead Coyote's head but since this needs 10+ replies we can have them fight it out and if Forsyth wins Kazimir will just hide somewhere and wait till the kitty is done eating ^_^
Perhaps the fear was what kept her hyperaware of the movements and sounds around her. The male was in her sights while the female was heard growling and pacing behind her sounding agitated. Another smell caught her attention, a feline scent that made Kazimir even more on edge. She looked around quickly and saw nothing cursing a stream of Russian before she leaped forward and attacked the male. She struck swiftly and her fangs tore open the throat of the male, a lethal wound that allowed Kazimir to no longer worry about the male being a threat. She turned on the female and charged her, rearing onto her hind limbs and placing her forepaws on the Coyote's shoulder. She shoved downward and bit at the top of the female's ears and face, shredding before the coyote broke free and ran off.
Kazimir let her go and turned, following the blood trail to where the coyote lay eyes wide and glazed over. She growled and lowered her muzzle, checking for breathing and finding none began to tear into the neck through muscle and flesh. Mahler would have his head and she'd be damned if the female was to ever show her face here again. While she worked she growled menacingly, warning off the feline she knew was stalking her.

The female watched with distrain when the wolf seemed to win instead of the coyotes. She felt that the coyotes would win as they were with more but this wolf seemed to rip them to pieces with ease. Forsyth's glance soured, but she felt safe on her higher position, on her outcrop. Her tail flickered over the ground. She was not going to get herself into a fight and get injured when she was so close to getting in heat.
What she was sure of what that patience was key, this female was not going to eat all of this meat so there would be more than enough for her to eat from later. Her amber eyes glanced down, staying alert for if this murderous wolf had any ideas of going after her.

She briefly wondered if perhaps she should tell the feline off, state that the mountains were claimed by Diaspora and she would be allowed to leave now if she never returned. If Kazimir didn't go for her, another member definitely would or there would be a manhunt sent out. She grumbled while she finished the job, tossing the head aside and then scanned the treeline. "Hey kitty. You better get out of here, these mountains belong to more like me" she had no idea if they even shared a language, she had never bothered to speak to a different species of predator or to prey. Either way the threat was evident in her voice, the command to get of Dodge and not to come back or there would be problems.

The feline was safe on the rocky outcrop that looked down on the wolf and the massacre that were two coyotes. The female's amber eyes stayed on the wolf, especially when she realized that she was spotted. Wolf language was always tough to understand but she got the gist of it. She lifted her muzzle, still lying on there higher outcrop. "I dooo nottt obeyyy yourrrr lawsss," she hissed in return to the wolf. She knew wolves could jump but they couldn't jump this height and if the wolf would try she would have the advantage with a swipe of her craws.

She squinted her eyes upwards as a hissing voice, instantly recognizeable as feline spoke. Pinpointing the location she fastened the cat with a look that said "what're you, stupid?" and snorted shaking her head slowly. "Well...I don't have time to worry about some cowardly cat hiding in a tree" she said and looked around. Sighing she began to check around, tracking the coyote scent to a crevice inside the mountain's walls. She squeezed her not so small behind through it and found it opened up into a larger than she'd expected cavern. She wanted it. She wanted this to be a den for her and herself only but figured that she would have to report this to Mahler as well as everything else. Sighing softly she exited the cavern and peered at the trees keeping an obvious eye on the feline. She'd give the beast a few more moments to scram before she would just grab the coyote head and wander off back toward the lake.
