ruo looked at the isle one more time. her son, her little cub, stood beside as he looked toward the only home he knew, and where his family still remains. she looked at him, and wondered how he would feel. would he enjoy their culture? would he adapt? would he miss it here? she wondered how her parents would feel, that she left, and came back with a son- but they always loved males. her cover, would be saved.

then she thought of her lion. he was had a belonging her, unlike sometimes she felt. the wounds between her and Hua were slowly mending, but she still felt like an outsider, as she always has been. she wondered if the siren came back, would that change? she knew what answer to give Aiolos once the two would return; but wondered when that would be.

originally the mission was to be alone, but Huojin jumped to the occasion. perhaps he wanted to see what his origins were, and she didn't stop that. but ruo also feared if she could protect him, as no one had protected her. because no one protected her, nor her cousins, she felt a rather fire to this spying occasiona. 

make sure no one else falls to the cultures fate.
