Open to anyone, but hoping for :Sotiris
Tzila's presence may not have been terribly outstanding as of late in Yuèlóng, but she remained largely rooted to the island nonetheless. Motherhood had kept her busy, along with her daily patrols of the whole of the island. She had fallen behind in socializing with her pack mates, be they new or old. Still, she was always aware, ever watchful of the comings and goings. Most likely observing from the comfort of the shadows.
Finding that she was able to catch a break, now with her son growing larger and more independent, she stretched her legs for a leisurely walk along the beach. Her thoughts were never far from Sotiris. He was a cherished, special boy and often times Tzila might have been too overprotective of him. A sun-bathed slab of rock jutted out of the waves before her, beckoning her close. She leapt up and sprawled out on her tummy, head turned inland so she could watch keenly for any passerby.

The boy was drawn to the ocean each and every day, the lands beyond calling to his soul with songs of colour unknown to those he lived with. He felt... different from them. He didn't much fit in, and perhaps he'd never find that feeling of belonging. Still, his fascinations lay beyond their borders - beyond the greenish blue crashing of the waves, the tan howling of the wind. The island was noisy.
He stood on the beach, trying to get another attack of anxiety out of his brain by trying to tune everything but his thoughts out. The noise hurt in a way he couldn't express - he hadn't told anyone about his struggles, afraid of judgement, but it was clear the boy was often anxious and not very social. Perhaps it was cause for concern, though he was unable to even think that far ahead.

An oh so familiar flash of muted blacks and grays caught her eye. Her beloved son. He had come out to stroll on the beach. A small, slow smile pulled at the edges of her lips. Seeing him there before her eyes reminded her that he looked like his father in so many ways. Her smile faltered momentarily. Astaroth had been gone for some time. And she wondered if Sotiris felt illy towards him for it. Tzila herself, wasn't quite sure how to feel.
But what she did know for certain, was that she understood her son's pull inland, away from the coast all too well. Likely a trait he might have inherited from her. The shores were never her first choice of residence, but she had put her feelings aside, for her own self-betterment. Brows pinching gently, she rose from her lounging position, chuffing to him gently. Her tail waved as she beckoned him. "Sotiris...come here, my sweet boy." She cooed, yearning to share a moment with her true blood.

He didn't have many memories of the man that had fathered him. Nor did he have any meaningful ones with his mother, though he couldn't say they were unpleasant. The child wasn't concerned with his family's dynamics, or building relationships. He was an odd one for sure, never going out of his way to play with other pups but instead focusing on the world around him. Anything except other wolves interested him, unless it was a specific kind of noisy.
Big, doe-y eyes looked up to his mother.
Yes, m-mother.He stuttered, though not out of nervousness or anxiety. He'd developed it some time after he'd begun speaking, his train of thought getting interrupted a lot by sounds, even his own voice sometimes. It wasn't very bothersome to him, it was simply his way of communicating. He padded to Tzila, coming to lay by her side if he was allowed.
Anything w-wrong?
