All Welcome
A low grumble escaped the male's silver and white hued muzzle as glacial blue eyes stared at the darkened woods up ahead. Leaving the forest and becoming a lone wolf, hadn't been one of Vandal's intentions, but nonetheless, it had happened. And now, the brute found himself sitting beside the creek, listening to the gentle sound of the flowing waters to one side of him, a stranger to the woodland that he (still now) considered home. He sat quietly, thinking, tail curled about his paws as he began to consider his options – he wanted to return to Blackfeather woods, but Van couldn't help but think of the welcoming he'd receive, especially since he'd left without a word or even a whisper. And @Potema? What would she think of him now? He'd told her that he would never leave..

Van sighed at the thought and gradually turned his attention to the rest of his surroundings, painfully looking away from the woods and briefly to the clear, running waters of the creek. Though, seemingly in a trance, a daydream of some sort, Vandal still remained alert to the other noises around him, managing to finally pull his sapphire gaze away from the stream to cautiously observe the terrain.
in our town the hangman came, smelling of gold, blood and flame

It was the vaguely familiar scent that drew him to discover the creeping presence of an ex-follower, lurking just beyond the dark woods in an unsavory fashion. Vaati scoffed, mainly at the other's lack of transparency when stalking his ex-home where his ex-love interest laid; Vaati's mother. But it was also the mere idiocy that the other convinced himself that it would be a grand idea to further piss off a band of murderers in their own home. Vaati was not about to let him slide so easily, especially when his own mother's heartbreak was still fresh in his mind. Bounding towards the other with very, very little stealth, he made his presence known simply by shouting, "You! You betrayed the dark forest, betrayed my mother," His accusatory tone is riddled with anger, and awe at the stupidity of his return. Did he not know what happened to those who betrayed the Dark Brotherhood? He lived long enough in the forest to witness the murders of trespassers and cowards, and what became of their corpses as they were laid along the borders of the woods. But his stupidity did not concern Vaati, it amused him. For it was now, the teen had the legal right to end his life for daring to show his face near their home again. His hackles raised, his breast growing in size in a display of superiority. At only 7 months of age, Vaati neared the full height of an adult male, and would continue to grow; Vandal would not escape so easily from the situation at hand, and if he tried, he would be met with tooth and ready claws.

Potema is still in heat. Implied aftermath from this thread

She fled the Woods. Plain and simple. She could not stand to be there any longer, not with Sheogorath stalking the Woods in search of her to take her once more. She intended to flee the Woods, far, to the other side of Wilds, or lead Sheogorath on a wild goose chase. A part of her feared for her children and the threats that Sheogorath might implement. She did not underestimate him; he was craftier than she. He was trained to be.

She went through the muck and mire, sliding out until she reached past the shadows of her home...was it truly a home any longer? How could it be when her brother stalked after her, lusting for her, her other brother stalking the tunnels, insane, and her son cursing the Gods she had worshipped her whole life? Potema's conciousness floated perilously in a sea of anxiety and fear, until a familiar voice brought her back to reality. Vaati? She called, running towards the voice. It was not frightened, but authortitative and threatening, but the sound of his voice had startled her nonetheless. But as she neared the recognizable sight of platinum-and-sand fur, another familiar sight took her breath away. Van...Vandal? She was not bitter. In fact, she was never so glad to see a face. She stepped in front of Vaati, flashing a warning glare to him with her good eye before turning to smile at Vandal.
