Venus had picked herbs, and worked on drying them. She found some herbs the pack had more of, and searched them out. She went by a river/creek to see something she hadn't seen sense she was a young pup. It was a rust colored ball, the size and shape of a large rock. She collected 3 at a time, and totaling in 9. She quickly transported them to her den, along with a few branches of herbs. Venus dug her claw into the still wet clay-rock, exposing a small hole. She placed a small strand of herbs in the clay, and pushed them down into the clay, allowing it to stick.
The first she made for @Burke, she made it with some lavender. She did the same procedure with the 8 others. She made the second for @Nemesis, with the same, a string of lavender. The next was made for @Cicero, made from Thyme. After that she made @Kove one, from mint leaves. She went along to make @Mikasi one from Marigold petals, and @Cyn one from mint. @Xan, made from horsetail. Last but not least, @Damien. His was made of beautiful Oak leaves.
After the work was done, she sprinted out of her den to the creek, as she remembered @Kendra and Pietro. She quickly collected two more, and raced back, which took a while. When she got back she made the young girl one with lavender, with strands of moss strung around the edges, for the girl's love of moss. Pietro's was one made of mint, with rocks placed around the sides, for the boy's tough spirit.
Once she was done, she called out for the wolves by howl, eagerly awaiting their arrival to present the gifts she made. Before they arrived, she flipped them over and gave her paw print on the back.

She had not seen the herbalist for a while, although she hadn't exactly sought out the female. Her jealousy during the pack meal had driven her to have a slightly harder feel about Venus, though she had learnt that she was in no position to feel such a way. She had gotten over it, she unlike some did not strive to pick silly fights with her pack members. It was stupid, and she strived not to do so. So, it was a surprise when a summoning call went up, causing her to stop in her tracks and travel in the opposite direction.
The call was not urgent, nothing of dire need or haste, she could tell. Though she wouldn't ignore it, Venus obviously had something that required the presence of the whole pack. Well, most of them at least. It was from that fact that she became greatly surprised, their ranks were as of now full, the last member being Hecate. She still was not sure about most of them, even though she tried to have an open mind. The new changes had made it harder for her to do so, but she was trying, a she had promised Burke. As far as she knew, the whole tryst between Mikasi and Venus had not even happened, nor would she begin to suspect anything.
"Hello Venus, you called?" She inquired as she met the female a few minutes later. She had a lighter tone than usual, trying to push away the usual coldness that laced her voice. She stared at the odd objects that were lined on the ground, though she could not make out what they were. Rocks, clay, the scent of herbs. Padding up to one of the objects, she leaned down to give it a testatroy sniff before backing away in confusion. "What's this?" She asked, genuinely intrigued by the strange object.

Kendra had been close by trying to do something new or at least learn more about Botany as she wanted to specialize in them. The girl tried to track different plants but she ended up by the river, close to where Venus was. When she caught her scent Kendra decided that she should followed it and maybe ask Venus to learn her about new plants.
Once she arrived by the female Nem was there too! She let out a yip to both females to announce her arrival. She liked both females, unaware there was somewhat of a rivalry going on between them. She had never seen them together. Kendra's eyes then fell on the plants. She instantly rushed forward to see it up close. Nem asked what it was. She wanted to know it too!
Kendra looked up at Venus with a curious set of pale eyes. The female tipped her head cutely, her tail entry swaying. The girl tried to sniff the objects. It was ground with plants. Was she making plant holders? What was the use for this?

Cicero is not in Blackfeather Woods at the time of this thread, so only posting once to let you know about that and describe how he's not here. ^^; I'd love a thread once Cicero gets back to BFW, though! <3
While Venus howled for him, Cicero was too far to hear -- he was still near Fox Glade and had just regained consciousness as himself again. It was not long after what had happened with the white, unnamed male. Unaware that at home, a hand-crafted gift awaited him, the patchwork wolf was hiding along the frays of Wapun Meadow while darkness fell. Tail tucked, Cicero crawled into a small ball and awaited at the edge of the Meadow. He could oversee one side this way, and could only hope that nothing or no one would approach him from the other side. While fear beat in his heart, Cicero thought of home, although the girl interested in herbs was farthest from his mind. Resting his head upon his paws, Cicero closed his eyes and thought of Damien, but once consciousness drifted away from him, dreamt only of the white male.

The male had been spending many of his days alone, going about his business and tending to that which he had a responsibility towards. Xan had moved out of the den, insisting it to be time for him to find a place of his own, which had stirred awake some bothersome thoughts. His son would be reaching adulthood soon, meaning his daughters would be as well. Time had flown right by, and it unsettled him knowing that they'd grown up without him in their lives. Did they ever think of him? Wonder where he was? Or, perhaps, had they acquired a new paternal figure already? Scarlett had been one to attract others, he'd known that from the start, so it didn't seem too far-fetched that she would have taken on a new lover already. Little did he know, however, that doing so was no longer a possibility for her.
When a howl rang out, Kove's ears perked up and his head raised from the trail he'd been sniffing at, glancing over the surrounding area for a quick second. Someone was summoning damn near the entire pack, but it wasn't someone belonging to the leading tier. In truth, he knew not the voice or it's owner by name, as she'd never done anything to acquire his attention. Nevertheless, he began at an even pace towards it, if only for the chance at catching Nemesis. He knew that she, too, had been summoned, which gave him a good reason to see her (not that he felt he needed one).
Upon his arrival, the Inuit remained silent, having just barely caught the end of the question asked. His eyes lingered on the strange objects for a moment, uncertain of what they were, before turning his attention to Nemesis. Actually, his main focus was her, but he was also attentive towards the others. He, too, wanted to know of what the objects were, as well as who else would arrive.

Waiting for more to show up, but what ever :D
First, the ebony female showed up. She dipped her head politely. She to, was not much of a fan of the changes, but that was her opinion. She obviously couldn't change that, but she did like the strict, tight, family-like pack they were when she joined. Though, she wasn't here for too long. Like a normal family, they would fight, now she didn't exactly know who a few were. The reason she called the older recruits, was she thought it would be nice to bring them back together. The tension from the pack meal seemed to fade away, which was nice. For being a fairly cold wolf, she enjoyed the company of her pack mates.
Before the girl could answer Nemesis, the younger girl she had been helping showed up. "Hello to both of you." She said before smiling at the both. "These are little gifts I made for everyone- well almost everyone. I haven't officially met some of the new blood, so I thought it would be a nice little, well, throwback I guess." she said and shrugged. Maybe this would be a fun time for all of them to get together. "These are little herb stones I made as a pup, they can be put in your den to make it smell better, and as a decoration."
As Cicero was missed, she moved on. The ghostly man she hadn't formally met, besides pass-bys arrived. She wondered where his son was, she had met Xan, by a less-than-wanted encounter. She dipped her head in greeting. "As I was just explaining, I made gifts for a few of our pack members. They are something I made as a pup. They are herbs molded into a clay rock, they can be used as both a decoration, and a way to make your den smell better." she explained, while pushing Nemesis her lavender, Kendra her lavender and moss, and Kove his one made from mint. She smiled once they had received them, she flipped Xan's over, for he hadn't arrived yet, and revealed the paw print she created on the back, smiling at the three.

She listened intently to Venus's explanation, trying to ignore the set of eyes that were trained on her. Oh, so now he appeared. Though she did not know why, she was agitated that she had not seen him sooner. It became defining, the feel of his eyes on her that she met his with her own, gazing with an odd softness. They held like that for what seemed like a decade, before redirecting attention back to Venus. They would talk after, she just hoped nobody else noticed the tension floating between them.
"Thank you," She looked to Venus, before curiously touching her nose to it once more. It had the scent of lavender, something that had been sorely missed from her senses. It was a beautiful plant, in shape and in colour, missing from the dark shadow of their pack lands. She picked up the bundle in her mouth before stepping back to examine the paw print on the underside with her eyes. It had touch, something creative and different. She stood back with the bundle, unable to stare at the male. Stop.. stop.. stop. But she just could not. It was then she did the most drastic thing she had ever done in her life, which also felt like the most dramatic thing she would ever do.
She carried the bundle in her mouth and sat beside Kove. A graceful movement, swift without much attention drawn to herself. It was normal, although inside it was a storm full of self consciousness. People would speculate and there would be whispers and .. was that even bad at all? Fuck it, she didn't care. If she wanted to sit beside him, she bloody well would. Freedom of speech, free country.. yeah. Feeling quite proud, she didn't shrink back from sight. She just didn't care, at all.

Kendra watched Venus and her little gifts. She was wondering why the female would take the plants from their earth and place them in a clay rock. Now they wouldn't grow or be able to spread their roots. She basically saw it as plant torture. Her eyes looked at the gifts unsure if she wanted one or which one was hers. Her pale eyes looked at Venus not understanding why she did this.
She sat down by Nemesis side and looked, clearly disapproving, of the way she treated the plants. The little botanist liked to see plants alive and if they were plucked they would be needed for some good use, not decoration. Sure, she wanted the glowing moss in her garden but she would make sure it would be able to grow and not be stuck in a piece of hardening ground. These plants were doomed to die.

When the eyes of his muse fell upon him, he took it as in invitation to move closer. His steps were careful, placed softly to limit noise, and did not cease until he was near enough to keep a careful eye on her. He was disappointed to have not seen her sooner, too, even though he had not outwardly shown it. "They look nice," the man commented, pulling his attention from Nemesis to Venus as he was given his gift. Never before had he seen something like it, though perhaps that was due to his homeland. There weren't exactly excess reserves of clay up north, and no one would ever think to turn them into pieces of art anyways. The focus was survival, of course, and family as well. "Thank you."
He nosed over the mint-infused clay, taken aback at first by the strong scent. It was sharp, invading his nostrils quickly and stinging his eyes, but in spite of that it was a pleasant scent. It was clean, he realized, and strangely refreshing. He was quite fond of it, and offered the female a smile to demonstrate his appreciation. The Inuit's attention, however, was pulled from her immediately as a familiar presence neared his side. His eyes snapped to her face, meeting Nemesis' gaze and then flashing her a smile. He had come to terms with his emotions, and no longer would he fight them. Whether or not his affections towards the dark woman were noticed by others of the pack, he did not care. His lack of concern towards being discreet was soon made known, too, as he pulled his muzzle away from the clay and towards her face. It was then that he touched her cheek gently, the action quick. As soon as he'd touched her, he'd pulled away—it was almost as if he were playing a game, attempting to make her flustered so that he might better gauge her feelings towards him on that particular day.

When a howl had rung out through the woods, he was quick to connect the voice to a familiar face. It was Venus, he knew, the enchantress that had summoned him what felt like ages ago by willpower alone. This time, though, she had decided to use her voice, and he had to fight with himself over whether or not he would answer. What would happen if he ignored her? What would she do? She had stolen away the control he held over himself previously, and the memory of that was enough to have him moving towards her. He was not the first to arrive, however, for others had been called as well. As the boy neared her, he discovered the pull he'd felt was no longer there. Had she lifted her hex? He certainly hoped so. Even still, he found himself moving nearer to her, greeting her with an unfamiliar softness to his voice. After, his eyes trailed over the clay bundles she had, curious of what they were.
Before he could be given his, Alexander glanced over the other attendees, curious of who all was there. He spotted his father, who was quite close to Nem... was something going on between them? Quickly, he shook his head. No, of course not. They would have told him, he was certain of it; especially if things were serious. Then he looked to Kendra, who resided near Nem as well. His gaze flickered between her and Venus, silently debating with himself something he could not understand. In the end, he remained between them, silent and standing on stiff legs.

*casually slips in*
His ears perked as he heard the sound of Venus' howl. He stood up from his resting place, trudging towards her call. He felt very sluggish for some reason unknown. For a man who loved working, that bothered him. His dragging movements lead him to be late.
He examined the scene. Nemesis and Kove were sitting weirdly close to each other. Mikasi had no clue of their love struggle, still he assumed that they were a thing now. Kendra, too, was closer to the two, while the nameless face from the incident sat between Venus and the trio. Mikasi walked past the younger snowy boy, giving a small, cocky grunt as he made his way to the female's side. The male still hadn't forgot of their little episode.
He sat close to Venus, looking at the rocks and back to her. "So what are these?" Again, fashionably late, so he hadn't a clue.

Last post from me!
Kendra was not really pleased with the way Venus treated those plants so Kendra decided to leave. She looked at Xan who also had been here, and then to Mikasi. "They are death traps for plants, they will die," she commented to Mikasi and then decided to trot off, not agreeing with this practice and she would not take this as a gift. She disliked killing plants. Hence why she didn't want to become a healer at this moment, she didn't want to kill plants for it. She rather wanted to have her garden and watch them grown, study them. With that said she felt the premises.

Last post for me
She thanked Venus, turning on her heels after. But in the quick moment did she meet Kove's eye, silently asking him to follow her. Their touch did not go un-noticed, she was sure by the sly looks and wandering eyes their way. Never mind the discretion then, it wasn't any of their business. Her tail swished boldly as she stalked off with the planty thing, her ears had also picked up Kendra's disapproval for the craft. Yet, that did not give the girl a right to down right state her dislike for the object, it was in a way, inconsiderate. But, to each their own. Personally, she couldn't see herself taking care of the thing nor paying much attention to it, but the thought was.. nice. Perhaps she would seek out Kendra again, the girl had grown intellectually quite a bit, stunning her once more. Maybe another "adventure" or something that didn't make her look like a dimwit in the face of herbs. Well, after all she was no green thumb anyways.
