Rannoch watched after the nymph of the night, making sure that was careful in her departure. It was as she reached the highest point of her climb that Rannoch turned from where they had met towards the heart of his territory. Once he embarked, with no particular agenda in mind, the Alpha would set his sights behind him occasionally to ensure the other was out of sight.
