Emberwood ease

The fairy could tell spring was here, yet, it kept snowing. The world tried to bloom, but the sky kept showering in ice and frost, a shame to what could be. She liked to think the wilds were beautiful once the summer came, but it would seem to be a while before life would grow fully. It was still a winter wonderland, that she wished would stay away for some time.

It grows harder to hunt in winter, as some prefer to hide away from the newer seasons. There was food to be stocked, a cache to fill in Hushed Willows, but Orlaith was also curious. She sought out a new place, with an excuse of doing her 'duties.' Of course, she would bring something home, but not without a peek to what there was to offer.
