With three wolves at the main opening, he trusted they would get the job done and turned his focus back towards the hole he guarded. There. One emerged and he snatched it from behind, giving it a good shake and snapping it's neck before it could so much as yelp a warning to the rest of it's skulk.

He tossed the corpse aside and another soon followed. He did much the same with this second fox of his only this time he snagged it by the tail and tossed it into the air. He caught it by the skull and crushed it. Such small creatures didn't really stand a chance under wolven jaws. Nevertheless, as soon as those first two were taken out, he repositioned himself over the hole and began to dig. If anymore tried to escape, they'd meet his jaws. If not? At least he'd ruined their home.
