Gale was loping after the scent of a rabbit, when he scented Finley (ahem Funley xD) and Elwood`s pup and lost the trail. He sighed and gave it up as a bad job, instead deciding to go and greet the young wolf.

What`s a pup doing out here? he wondered, and inwardly shrugged.

The pup, he had noted, was also named Elwood (Junior). However, Gale had seen most of the Pack refer to him as Elijay. As he crested the last hill between him and the pup, he was rehearsing what he`d say already. Gale was like that.

"Hey, Elijay, how are you doi-" he stopped short as the pup took a bite from a rotting fish on the windswept land. He yapped in alarm. "Elwood, don`t swallow that!"

He rushed towards the (not much) younger wolf in a desperate bid to stop him eating the potentially deadly meat.

Oh, for the Spirit`s sake, what do I do? I can`t let him eat that filthy meat!
