The exclamation of "You!" caused Wildfire to jump, eyes peeling wide open even as she spun on a heel. Her brow furrowed when her eyes clapped upon an unfamiliar figure coming toward her. Said furrow deepened when he asked, "Do you remember me?" It reminded her of her recent encounter with Saena. There was a slight difference, though: as she studied him, Wildfire realized she did recognize him, albeit vaguely. It was hard to forget a face like that (a thought which made her feel sort of guilty).
"I think so," she said slowly. "You were there that day when I had one of my reactions. You tried to help me, then you and my dad argued." She couldn't recollect specifics, though. "I'm surprised he didn't eat you, in hindsight," she mused, mostly to herself. "I don't remember your name, though. I'm Wildfire," she said, in case he didn't remember hers either.
