Taking in her scent for what might be the last time. If only there was a way for them to be together. And Maja, and Sebastian. Family stayed together, but this family was broken. With a need for mending. 

What she said next, that lightened up the mood. He gave a light chuckle and replied jokingly, "Actually, that might help with my popularity. But I get what you mean." He returned the lick with one of his own, accompanied with a low involuntary whine. He didn't want her to leave. But there was no choice, he had to. They both sat there, he longed for this to go on forever. Eventually, he reluctantly turned away, before going on his way. He would miss her so much, but he had things to do. Not only did this family need to mend, but so did he. He was broken inside. He needed to repair himself.
