He'd brought her a present. Nobody had done that for her since -- well, she couldn't remember. Her siblings had probably brought her all kinds of goodies at some point, or her parents, but... This was so strange. Nobody had ever really brought her anything she'd like. Maybe Reek was trying to gross her out? While Reek explained where he'd found it, Tavi did listen, but she was so enthralled with studying the surface of the bone and the curve of the various fused parts, she was uncharacteristically quiet.

And then, almost out of nowhere, she launched herself at him. Not in a bad way -- but that could've been misconstrued considering the calm before the storm. Her gray body collided with his as she wrapped him up in a big, warm, somewhat aggressive hug. Or a tackle - there was no way to tell the difference. Thank you Reek! Thank you so much. It's perfect. I'll... i'll find a place for it, she flooded him with praise, her words falling over themselves just as she was practically falling over him (or for him, who knew). She pulled herself away (granted he was still standing, but if not she'd find a way to detangle) and then grabbed the closest portion of the old moose head.

She tugged, and tugged, and while it moved it was not moving fast enough. From around her clenched teeth she mumbled, How th' fnnk did yer move 'ths? It was heavy, but not that heavy. Maybe she was being too careful with it?
