her words sent chills down his own neck-- so close to his ear and so softly spoken. for once in his life-- terance wasn't being shot down. "not really," terance returned as a small burst of confidence surged through him. and since she was so generously teasing him with the soft fur beneath her jaw, he took the offering between his teeth-- softly pulling and combing through it. if she was using him, he couldn't tell-- and maybe didn't care-- right now just the closeness and the contact was enough to send his whole world crashing down... but in a good way. 

he wanted something-- much more, but he didn't know if it was his place to ask for it. he was hot and bothered, for sure. his head raised, and he regarded her quietly, a silent question of is this okay? ears pressed to his head.
