Tahani's grin brought out his own, dispite his previous anger, and was overjoyed to hear what had transpired within the small whelping den. Turning to greet her his ears pulled forward to catch and whishpered breath. 

Two boys and a girl. He whined in excitment and leaned heavily on Tahani as she curled against him. His tail thudding against dirt. "That is great news. How is Shiv? Is she ok?" He couldn't believe that their family had grown by two. The next generation of their family had entered the world, and he couldn't wait to meet them, to teach them. His heart thudded in his chest.
