Jade Fern Grove patrolling again

Grezig blinked in surprise at Elixir’s sudden change in mood. Surely she had expected to be questioned about this. If she was willing to bring it up in the first place, she had to get used to others asking her questions about her past. Grezig snorted in derision at the mutt’s tone. She could understand if maybe something bad had happened that Elixir didn’t want to talk about, but she didn’t say that. She just shut down and walked away.

The turn and the shake of the head was what really got to Grezig, as if she had done something wrong like a pup who didn’t understand her social graces yet. With another snort, she rose and walked away in the opposite direction. She thought they’d been getting along, but now… well, her opinion of the wolfdog was even lower than it had been now. Oh well.
