Her eyes closed and she sucked in a breath as Ceara's tongue swept across her swollen heat. She stopped suddenly, though, freezing for a second before pulling back. Speedy's eyes flicked open, and she looked down at the other woman, concern crossing her face as Ceara stated that she felt bad doing this when Speedy was under the influence. She didn't feel like it impaired her judgement at all, but she didn't want her friend to feel any kind of discomfort if they were going to do this. When Ceara moved back up to nuzzle into her neck, she sought reassurance that she was okay with just affection. The empth nuzzled the top of her head. This is perfect. She was perfectly content with just the company and affection of the fiery woman; they didn't have to take it any further than that.

She got to thinking about Ceara's words--how she implied that someone took advantage of her at a time when her judgement was impaired. Speedy's heart ached for the female and the obvious pain she had sensed from her when she spoke of the ordeal. I'm sorry that happened to you, she said quietly into Ceara's fur. She assumed the other woman would know what she was talking about without her having to go much further into detail.

She would stay there as long as Fire wanted her to, and then they would part ways with the promise from speedy that they would see each other again.
