Stone Circle The mess is mine

Vespera sat quietly as her pack mates ate their filling. The female's stomach began to growl as she waited patiently. She could have gone over herself and gotten her fill, however her instincts of past pack experiences have lead her to wait till everyone was done. However what caught her eye was the female Steph. She watched as the female howled along with the pack and began to eat. But then Steph had glanced in her direction, and Vespera jolted her head back slightly and gave a confused look. She watched as the female dug into the bison's side and ripped a chunk off of it. Vespera observed that Steph was taking the chunck in her jaws and delivering it straight to Vespera. The female felt a little tense since she had never met the female, but she didn't react in any certain way. She glanced down as Steph dropped the bloody chunk of meat in front of her paws, Vespera could only blink in confusion as she glanced back at the jet black female as the blood was dripping from her fangs. Steph had then told her to dig in with a smile as the blood had stained her teeth. Vespera was at first unsettled with this gesture but she mustered enough courage to laugh a little and give a big awkward smile. "Uhhh.... Thanks?" Vespera tried to sound as genuine as she could as she watched Steph head back to the carcass. Vespera's smile faded when Steph wasn't looking, and Vespera looked down at the chunk of bison at her paws. She pinned her ears back a little as annoyance began to rise in her throat Ack, pity meat, that so helps me with my self esteem.. She sarcastically thought to herself, but she could only slightly blame herself since she didn't go over and eat the bison herself. The female and ate her fill as she mentally beat herself up.
