Silverlight Terrace Magic, madness, heaven, sin

Speedy thought this place was probably really nice in the spring and summer but right now, it was covered in a thick blanket of snow like pretty much everywhere else around here. She had gotten used to it mostly out of necessity, but she still longed for the summer when she could take walks under the moon without freezing her ass off. 

Tonight had been like pretty much every other night since her run in with the blackfeather wolf. She had been woken from her sleep by one of her rotating nightmares and had turned to exploring rather than lying awake in her den and letting her mind wander to things she'd rather not think about. She normally stayed within the safety of the moonspear borders, but as more time passed since the incident the more the she felt comfortable indulging her adventurous nature. So, bored with the same scenery she had been studying every night, she ventured past the borders and down into the snow-covered field. Flurries drifted down from the sky as she moved, catching in her fur before melting away, and occasionally she stopped to shake the dampness from her coat. She would say she felt relaxed here, but she couldn't quite forget her worries regarding Revui; he had disappeared from the mountain days ago and so far, no one had been able to find him. She worried his wounds weren't being cared for properly but hoped that maybe he stumbled onto some kind soul that would help him out if he needed it. If he didn't return soon, then she would start looking for him herself, snow or not. 

A soft sigh escaped her lips as she continued her late night walk through the snowy field, and she wondered if her protector had found some kind of shelter from the cold wherever he was.
