waves back
Sorin had been exploring near the southern edges of the vale when he caught Liri's scent, as well as that of another, unknown female. He had been quick to hed her way, calling out to Siqsa incase the man had not already detected her return. He glanced at Liri, quickly assessing that she had come across no ill fate during her travels. His expression however, adopted his typically guiarded complexion as he regarded her new companion. She too was an ivory women, and she too bore scars, the most predominant one cutting across her nose. He met her eyes, seeking out whatever scars may lay on her heart with a quick but calculating glance. However, he could discern little, the scars on her heart were either not as fresh or not as bare as Liri's had been upon their first encounter. Still, he was sure they were there, for scars on the body almost always left something on the heart, no matter how minor.
"Welcome back," he said, turning his gaze to Liri as she spoke, introducing the women. The dark man narrowed his eyes briefly at her display of dominance, but he wasn't really all that concerned. He knew it was probably meant to dissuade any aggression towards the newcomer, as opposed to truly trying to rule over him or Siqsa. It was a smart play on her part really, the sort of thing a leader should do.
Sorin nodded in greeting to Heloise, but offered no words, not particularly interested in a drawn out conversation at the moment. His expression remained fairly neutral as he appraised her again, seeing nothing incredibly noteworthy for now, besides her scars. While he trusted Liri's judgement in bringing the women here, he wasn't going to give up his cautious nature just yet; even if she had brought along marigold. Instead, her simply nodded in thanks for her assistance, before turning back towards the center of the vale. If she decided to stick around, then he would likely share a more friendly conversation. He'd give her a chance, he had to do that at least, but for now, he was in no hurry to throw caution to the wind.
