she remained as expressionate as a block of ice, dark eyes narrowing further on his pup-like display of proud glee. completely insane..little unnerved the young soldier but those that had lost the grasp of their mind always left her on edge. it could perhaps be her greatest fear, the idea of losing touch with your own mind. she may have hurt the relationship between her and the emotions that resided somewhere but she at least still had a firm grasp on her mind. that was all that really mattered..right?.
her question seemed to be an issue with him as he instantly fell into some kind of spiral, confusion latching onto those yellow eyes. still she'd remain aloof siding her ears falling back against her head even as he stammered out a lost 'me?' as if she could be asking anyone else. the whole display left her feeling chilled all over and whilst some might feel pity- after growing up in a world devoid of such a thing she was left feeling a simple mixture of unease and..disgust to be frank. "yes you" is all she'd mutter, gaze sharp.
he'd groan at that but something in his gaze seemed to clear somewhat- however with it seemed to come a great deal of unhappiness for the brute as she'd step back with a grunt as little bits of drool went flying with the verocity in which he clenched his jaws. was his identity that bad? and if so what would it mean for them should he be granted access to these woods? all she wanted was to chase him off, keep the forests pure but she wasn't in charge here and she'd vowed to be loyal to maegi and so would go with her decision. when finally with a great deal of effort he managed to present his name to her she'd push on relentlessly. "okay dagmar. tell me, what would we even benefit by letting you into these woods? tell me something to make it even worth calling a leader" perhaps her ways seemed cruel but it was all she was used to and really all she was doing was trying to keep the woods safe and he was far from proving himself not to be a threat to them.
