For whatever reason, her mind drifted back to his admission regarding Amekaze, and she couldn't help but feel bad for both of them. It was quite an uncomfortable situation, and she wished she could help. Suddenly, without thinking, she closed the distance between them, aiming to do what she had wanted to do for the entirety of this conversation. Her ears fell as she neared, and if allowed, she would nuzzle into the fur on his chest, her goal in that moment only to offer comfort.
