Xizur was missing. Xizur was gone. Her son was gone. “XIZUR!” she screamed as she wandered around outside the den, trying desperately to find his scent in the wind or the on the ground. There was nothing. He was nowhere. She’d already checked everywhere else around Ankyra Sound and had returned in desperation to the den site. “XIZUUUUUR!” Her voice was ragged. She had been screaming for hours. She wandered farther away, circling around and around in a wider area. Her mind reeled. She was a terrible mother. She couldn’t help @Illidan feel any better about himself, couldn’t make him see how deserving he was of love, and now her son was missing. The only one she seemed to be mothering properly was her daughter, Tizir, but even she seemed to be growing up to be a terrified weakling. Well. That was better than disappearing from under Grezig’s nose. A nose that seemed to have stopped functioning. How the fuck could he have just disappeared like that?
“XIZUR!” she screamed again, her voice cracking on the second syllable of his name.
Vaati would be no help in the search. He’d been an absentee father from the beginning. Even though she’d extended her offer of co-parenting. She whined and paced, ears swiveling between being pressed to her head in anxiety and pushed forward, hoping for the sound of her son’s voice. “FUCK!” she yelled, and slumped to the ground.
