Spica was bored. Bored, bored, bored. She tugged @Syrma's ear a hundred times that day while shouting Swym, Swym, Swym! in between for absolutely no reason at all. So when one of her brothers showed up with Something To Do, Spica was instantly interested (and possibly her twin was relieved to be rid of her attention for a little bit). What'sat? she asked before getting into view, swallowing half of the words she was saying.

While her siblings were still in the 'Mom is cool' phase, Spica was getting past that already. She was her own person and a pretty unique special snowflake at that, so she didn't need to be like mom. She snorted indignantly and said, Who wants to be like mom?? Mom was nice and all, but to aspire to be like her? That was way too far for Spica - maybe even a little embarrassing - and the ridiculing tone of her voice suggested that her brother should feel the same.
