Yet thankfully, it would have seemed as the days drew out and Arcturus rose to his station, there was less of Charon in him than Dirge had first thought. This was a point he did not share, of course, but it lingered gently in passing. He moved along, embracing the role of supervisory instigator.

"But I think they would like that as much as he would. I've come to the conclusion that Atlas would not turn down another batch of ankles to sink his teeth into," which on that note, Dirge may or may not have come to the conclusion of why his youthful tail pulling was not so charming. "And I'm inclined to wonder what sort of sass the four of them could muster... do you think Arcturus would survive their impromptu howling?"

He smiled then, more teeth than anything.
