Haunted Wood and now i am going to kill you too

something gives, pops, in a way she hadn't expected it to. and then he screams, shrill and loud and omnipresent, and she feels not pride, but regret. but vengeance is there again, spitting poison, and she allows herself to feel some twisted form of victory, of power. 

she drops the limb thoughtlessly, for the first time glancing around their small scene, sure the scream could not have gone unheard. her gaze pauses over what appears to be someone waiting, watching, in the shadows, but returns to Valour after a moment. "we could put him in the pit." she suggests, content to ignore the fourth party here for now.
