The shadow did not know how deeply Uriel's love or belief in the Gods was, though knew she had believed in them enough. At least, that is what she have the impression of and that she believed in multiple gods of the world around them. Perhaps she too believed in Mother Earth and the Sea God? Perhaps, one day, he would tell her tales of them, if she so chose...
It was perhaps in this knowledge of the Gods existence which plagued him so about his past, about his creation. He knew that if there was good all mighty within the realm, there was evil as well. Hemlocke just hoped, so desperately, by trying to be a good and honest wolf, he would not fall into their clutches in the afterlife.
Skyward. The name repeated on her lips. The skies which was the sanctuary of the Sun and Moon Gods as the land was to use. His eyes fell downward to meet her once more. She spoke of treating him for their last meet, when he had braced the sun to help that which had been struck. And, she said, to celebrate their new name. His heavy sides rose with a deep breath, a smile nearly hidden within the darkness of his features. The pack would be named after his suggestion and he felt something he rarely did - pride.

Thank you, Uriel.
