Those words, that tone, that look; it drew him in. As he wanted to pull back, the right thing to do, to back off and let her come to her own senses later - his body did the fucking opposite. Instead, he leaned in, wanting to just touch her, just a simple muzzle touch across her cheek and then he would leave... he would leave, right? We really shouldn't.
