The last week had been the best of his entire life with the Easthollian around only because it had been good to have him. There wasn't any feeling he craved more than how the ash and silver prince made him feel wanted. Not needed as the only option while everyone else was busy. The journey was rough- or it would have been if Serem hadn't given him poppies. He'd taken two at once and was caught cycling between barely feeling his paws hit the ground and being hyper sensitive to just about everything. Tail wagging as he wore an uncharacteristically bright expression Valour brushed up alongside Clay their fur touching for a moment entirely intentionally with touch of his hip as every step brought them closer and closer to their destination. He'd wanted to flirt, to give Clay something to think about until they saw one another again but...the man's family was nearby so subtlety would do.  Enjoying the sparks caused by the touch something occurred to him and he reached for Clay's ear tugging it before he could call for his family "Hey" he said sounding nervous the smile fading "What do I say 'bout being a Nightwalker?" he asked loudly looking to Clay for the answers with a vulnerable expression that would be embarrassing if mentioned. Between the poppies and the fact that the wounds had reopened and were bleeding he was fairly woozy and it was all he could do to even care about it at this point. His hind end slumped to the ground as he ducked his head to lap at his wounds slowly, eyes sliding to peer at Clay with a lifted brow as if questioning  well? What's the plan?
