A gentle rain began to sweep over the mountains as Takeshi traveled past the empire, not ready to return yet. Onto the sunspire, where he had discovered some sorry fellow huddled once, whom he recalled with the ghost of a smile. He missed the days when the monster of his heart had not swallowed him so fully... but he was a devil by nature. Whether he knew it or not, he had never been a good man. On some level he had always been a misogynist who believed he deserved the love of women. 

Takeshi pushed onward, wet fur weighing him down almost as much as the weight on his shoulders.
