"His name is Kaertok," she thought to add. She almost included a mention of Legion, though she set her jaw and fell silent. What if this stranger tried to make them go back there? Arbiter would never let them out of her sight again.

There really was no way but forward. "Come," Haunt said quietly to her brother, "we have to keep looking." She offered the strange she-wolf a simple nod of gratitude before picking up her pale paws and moving westward with purpose.
