Chad's ears lifted to receive the call. His King, Cenric, was summoning them. As much as he would have loved to stay and observe both the nature and the simple beauty of the Herd, he would not dismiss the King's reasons for calling such a meeting. With a lingering glance filled with a touch of disappointment, the male turned away.
After shaking out his coat to make sure he appeared well groomed (as he often did), he made a beeline for the meeting place, that great rock formation. Slipping into the folds of the many other bodies gathered, he spared them a passing glance, but ultimately focused attentively on Cenric and Célnes. Settling himself quite comfortably in their midst, neither too far to the front or back, he waited for the meeting to commence.
