Following her encounter with @Draven in the misted heartwood, the russet she-wolf travelled West and carefully skirted her way around the edges of claimed territories. Despite her instant fondness for the raven, Tavra had parted from him with ease - she felt it unlikely that her path would cross with his again.

She was a yearling, keen to hold onto her newfound freedom and eager to see more of what the wilds had to offer before attempting to locate @Akavir. For now, Tavra roamed carelessly; her mother would be furious if she knew her daughter had deliberately and selfishly veered off course.

The gilded pasture in which she found herself was a curious place, and her copper gaze swept with interest over the dry grasses void of the vibrant emerald shades one might expect to find. Tavra sniffed at some stalks, wondering if the frost had gotten to them, but she found the day's temperature to be rather comfortable and not yet cold enough to freeze. Losing interest swiftly, the young wolfess padded alongside a small stream and looked for any sign of fish feeding along its bank.

She paused at the sight of a rather brutish figure ahead and ginger ears pricked high with intrigue as her gaze followed his movement toward the water before quickening her stride to lope forward with renewed enthusiasm.

"Hello," she called out cheerfully as she neared the mammoth wolf, probably venturing a little too close for comfort as she reached out with her muzzle to lap at the water's clear surface. "Sky looks a bit shitty today, huh? Hope the rain stays away."

What the hell was it with her finding boys at the edges of rivers, anyway?
