Hideaway Strath Stand down, I'm a God in the making

Arashi had not been overly excited that Fury had permitted the say of the strange couple, but he wouldn't have questioned it. 

It was obvious that it made the Warchief slightly uncomfortable, hence, he was overly cautious. What time he had open, the hound would be patrolling what was soon to be claimed by the Saints.

Focus. Keep your senses aware.

It was hard... especially since a new, ghastly scent wafted through his nostrils.

God. What was that awful stench??

Wait. Could it be? 

Though he wasn't experienced with the process of birthing whelps, the smell that often surrounded labor was familiar to him in some sense.

Was Fury ready to give birth?

There was no answer as to why, but Arashi's heart began to beat faster. She was alone. He had left her alone, again, in her greatest time of need.

Moving at a faster pace than he likely ever had before, the man sprinted to the den in which she had found for herself. What he came to find was both surprising and angering.

Fury wasn't alone. Kynareth.

The growl that longed to come before was finally released from its cell. Arashi marched to the white woman's flank, then reached an open jaw for the other man's nape to shove him away from the area in which she lay.

Perhaps they knew each other once, but it was clear that Kynareth had abandoned her. Left her for dead. While Arashi could not speak for Fury, he sensed that she wanted little to do with the deserter... much less have him near while she gave birth.
