The she-shepherd could not deny that there was a fierce ache in her hip when their journey finally reached its conclusion, nor that her paws had grown hard and calloused as her muscles burned -- developing new strategies of movements in the face of her limb's loss. Even so, a beam of sunlit happiness bloomed upon her features when the trio of Qeyas and Blacks regrouped with what would become Atautsikut. 

A home. A village. 

Such excitement swelled in her chest that the freckled wolfdog almost felt it might burst from her ribcage. Her yipping song joined in with the others for a moment, bumping and nuzzling her son and mate equally as her fluffy form began to wriggle exuberantly. 

After most of the tremors had settled, she nudged Sikuliak encouragingly towards the other children -- watching him flit hesitantly to their village-kin with a warm smile.
