Atka took in a shaky breath, steadying herself as she stepped forward and gingerly brushed her head against his chest, careful to avoid any wounds. The smell of blood was intense, making her shudder. She remained there for a moment, prolonging it, hoping he would not pull away from the affection. Finally sighing, she stepped back she looked over him again, still frowning at the harsh wounds to his face.

❝Perhaps I can find you something for the pain?❞ Atka paused, brows furrowing as she thought, ❝Or would you rather just rest, find some shade?❞

She wanted to ease him in whatever way he could, the injuries were did not seem far off from being overwhelming.
