'Howdy' was a strange word to S'ari. She had never heard it before. However, given the wolf's posture and tone of voice, she had to assume it meant something like 'Hello.' Feeling a little braver and more at ease, she came closer, though kept a fair distance between them, and stayed up on her paws, ready to dance away into the desert should this canid prove violent.

Then her eyes took in the wolf's dropped pelt, and wandered back to the wolf herself, with her nose having been in the shrubbery. S'ari knows some of these plants, though not all.
