On the wind,  not so very far away, S’ari heard a vaguely familiar tune. Someone was calling her, but who? By the call, it was a wolf and not a fellow Coyote. Male. So not Meerkat or her mother.

With a grin, she picked up the pace, her paws flying along the sands. As she ran, she lifted her head to the skies and sang a coyote song in return, to let him know she was coming.

And there he was, and she skidded to a stop and stared at him across some distance. Has this one found S’ari a gift already? she asked, coming towards him slowly, swaying her hips. She is glad you have not forgotten her. Her eyes glittered in the sun.
