She felt more like a reprimanded pup as she held herself low, overruled and unappreciated for the risk she had taken trying to save him from the crazed beast that had demanded his life. As though by saving him, she had done wrong.

Her brothers had come along, following as she did until they each went their own ways to deal with their thoughts. Liri had considered it, but that would've meant leaving Germanicus on his own. What if the woman came back? Would her presence even matter? Her father apparently would do as he wished, heedless of the thoughts and opinions of his children.
