The stranger's face was exploding, Lucette had decided. She was rather surprised to see it still intact when he'd finished. She blinked at him as he spoke, tilting her head as if to say so you're done now?

It appeared that he was, and he was beginning to catch on to the lack of welcome in this beach. Lucette nodded slowly, growl tapering off into silence. It was her beach.
