Totoka River The sun, the moon, the stars, the seas, the hills and the plains

He came to meet her at the river's edge as the stars danced in the sky above. She appeared older - though not by much, the subtle curvature of muscle beneath agouti fur revealing the build of a huntress. Though his gaze did not linger for long, perturbed by the openness in which she studied him with hungry eyes.

"Hey," came his shy greeting. He followed her gaze to the river where the night reflected still, oblivious to any deeper, secondary meanings. "That they are. I almost wish I could stare at them forever." Moving closer, his nostrils flared as her scent flooded his senses. "Has the night made you restless too, river-hunter?" Seeking, searching for solidarity in the moonlit stranger.
