Is she here on her own accord? the girl thought and wondered if Wren had been completely wrong.

Her large ears turned, uncertain. Then she walked forth.

“Silvertongue?” Shadowpaw rasped, her throat dry.

Yet as she drew closer it became evident something was horribly wrong.
