his green eyes were beautiful, compelling chani as he ran easily after her. his teeth raked her fur, his breath warmed the roots of her guard hairs.
shivering deliciously, chani butted their shoulders together and took the race's lead, setting them both for an energetic romp which passed over boulders, fallen trees, tiny creeks, and narrow hooftrails.
her chest burned! her speed flagged! chani glanced around for the man with the pretty smile who had so smoothly joined her run.
