he leads ishmira toward qeya river. silence follows them—he has no need for conversation. especially not with an annoying child.

she had begged him to take her to saatsine. so he did! and he would enjoy seeing if she would sink or swim.

he does not stop trailing the river until crimson eyes narrow onto sun eater in the distance. he then exhales through his nose, turning his head toward ishmira. he jerks his chin in the direction of the man.

there is the chieftain. he grumbles. you speak with him.
