blackfell's muscles coil beneath his dark pelt, absorbing faust's counterstrike. he staggers but doesn't falter.
will not falter.
feeling faust's jaws graze his throat scruff, blackfell twists violently, dislodging the grip. sliding with ease from his grasp, and whipping to turn it on him.
a guttural snarl, driving his hind legs into the icy ground, propelling himself sideways to slam faust off balance.
jaws instead snapping toward faust's foreleg, to grab and twist.
