Pain splits through his skull and his vision swims with stars.

Draugr's teeth narrowly miss his eye, catching on his cheek bone. Ujurak can feel the bone strain beneath the pressure. Heat floods the left side of his face, and blood pours down his cheek.

The vice of Ujurak's jaws release. The stone prince can barely hear Sven's shouting. Something about leaving. Leaving sounded good right about now.

Through the pain, Ujurak tore away from Draugr. Fur, flesh, tearing beneath his punishing teeth. Lacerations trailed down his face, they would scar.

Leaning heavily, Ujurak turned to run. Tunnel vissioned, he did not look for his brother, trusting that Sven had taken the chance to flee himself. Asvardr was hot on his tail. The silent man's teeth striking him, wrenching his tail before Ujurak ripped it away.

Til ána pakkans! Ujurak's voice jostled with his hitching step.

The stone prince hoped Sven understood his own red herring. Other wolves in the valley new the Riverclan had left. Ujurak had zero intention to go so far, his destination already determined.

He just had to escape first.
