Kesuk had started to get stir crazy. Sure she had only just rejoined the pack, but she had done virtually nothing since then. At least nothing productive to the pack. So instead of sitting around gnawing on old bones, she decided to go do a little patrolling of the borders, maybe even catch some real food while she was at it.
She had been walking through the dense undergrowth for some time before she caught the scent of another wolf in the air. Sniffing again, she noticed that it was not a wolf from her pack. The plateau was not a hostile pack, but it was weary of wolves just lurking around their borders.
And so the chocolaty lass set out to find the culprit of scent. After crossing out of the plateau limits and trotting towards the scent for a bit did she finally come across the wolf at the end of the trail. He was a good size and he had the build of a wolf, but something was a bit off about him. Having never seen a coywolf, the girl didn't know what she was looking at.
Still, it was better to be nice, she figured. Approaching him with her tail at unaggressive angle, she let out a light bark.
"Hi, there! Can I help you?" She asked hopefully. He hadn't been trespassing or anything, but Kesuk wanted to make sure he wasn't aggressive.
