Elwood understood the unspoken cue to join her inside. For that, she was glad... Or at least she would've been. There was still the dull blanket that nullified any happy emotions covering her. But, a few things could still break through that blanket.
To her request, Elwood was slipping into Role-play mode. The faintest of smiles entered her lips as he spoke. "Why ducks?" Somnia asked. Then, realizing that she wasn't exactly entering Role-play mode herself, she tried to get into it. "Why have they come? Do they have a reason?" That was a bit better.
