The tail of the black fae wagged excitedly, and she dipped her head kindly to the wolf as she talked about how to hunt the salmon. Perhaps it wouldn't be too different after all. In her head she imagined the fish just leaping out of the water and either directly in her mouth or onto the shore; but she knew that that was illogical. 

Ilya followed her lead, but went to a different spot as to either scare to fish toward her partner, or to not scare away the fish she was hunting. Her spot was similar in that it was rocky but it was further upstream. She copied the other females stance before standing over the water, completely still, and waiting.

It took a while, as it always does, but fish began to come closer. She remained still and waited for them to come by, hopefully, to certain death.
